- We have no "perfect" dental material, they all have strengths and weaknesses.
- Evaluation of the immune status as it relates to dental materials is important, especially if you have allergies, metal sensitivities, immune disorders, etc.
- Blood serum antibody testing is the method of determining your antibody reactions to the ingredients in dental materials. This test is performed in a laboratory based in Colorado. Blood is drawn, centrifuged and the clear serum is separated and sent to Colorado for analysis.
- A report is returned usually within a week with a detailed description of your specific antibody reactivity to a host of dental materials.
